This is a two part route that really shines as one super long beautiful pitch of moderate climbing. The upper ridge is so super cool!Start by climbing inside an overhanging corner until you can exit left. Tricky crux moves lead back right and to the LONG arete. Moderate climbing for another hundred or so feet leads to a small run out on easer climbing to the anchor. You can lower off here with a 60m, just lower straight down the cliff and watch for climbers on other harder routes. If continuing on just clip a draw to the anchor and continue up really pleasant terrain and enjoy the incredible position on the knife ridge that finishes this long adventure. From the anchor you will rappel with one rope down into the gully at the top of the balcony and need to walk several hundred feet back down to your packs so plan accordingly. The first part is all new terrain that we cleaned. The second part was likely climbed by at least one previous party (piton) and recently retro-bolted.

A pretty climb up the vertical center of this wall. Probably worth 2.5 stars, 12a and always in the shade ;) Optional stick clip. After the second bolt the climbing gets tough and technical. A few good jams and discontinuous cracks ease the pressure untill the heartbreaking move near the anchor. 

This is a great route with an interesting crux down low and really pleasant climbing up higher. Stick clip. Start up a technical tow of rock up to where the wall becomes vertical. Use a rail to move up into a cruxy section that can be climbed a few different ways. Once you've landed on the ledge above this climb up a lower angle terrain untill making a very fun step right onto a dike. One more bolt and the coolest hold at Russell, on this route, find the anchor and a nice view. 

At the midpoint of this obvious line is an old piton. My best guess is that this was a belay point and that they continued on up the ridge that is now shared with Enchanted Forest. Great climbing, a bit dirty, do it today if you like that old timey feel. Climb a nice corner to where it seems and slabs out. I believe there is still gear and at least a tree along the way to the shared belay on Enchanted Forest. The second pitch is bolted and beautiful. Two bolts protect the first bit then four well spaced bolts provide a little security up the ridge. Can be climbed as one long pitch 

Stick clip. Right off the ground is a very precise boulder problem that yields once you get the beta dialed in. After that the climbing becomes easier but still super fun. Kinda short but really fun!

A very sequential series of moves through a finger lock crack gives way to some really cool holds. Surmount a ledge and make a few more moves to the anchor. A tough onsight for the grade! Legend has it that even a very prolific climber could not rise to the occasion. 

A small cluster of spruce trees sit alone high up on the hill with a magical feel. The base of this area is wooded and shaded all year long. The center of the crag is vertical and the routes tend to be short and bouldery while the routes on either side offer some length, views, and fine position.
